About the TAG

What manufacturers does the TAG work with?
The TAG works with any manufacturer of golf cart, turf equipment, or utility vehicle both gas and electric.

Do I need a dedicated computer?
No the TAG software can be accessed from any computer anywhere in the world.

Do I purchase or lease the system?
It is your choice. Whatever suits your operational needs best. The terms can be designed around your operating season to match your cash flow.

What type of warranty comes with the product?
As long as you have the TAG it is under warranty. You will never pay extra for service or support.

Does your product work in real time?
Yes it does. The TAG utilizes the existing cellular networks so it is always communicating with the software, even when the vehicle is off.

How long do you keep the data of my location?
From the day we install the TAG. It is securely stored so you can retrieve the archived information at a later date if necessary.

Do I need communication towers or repeaters on my property?
No. The TAG uses the existing cellular network for communication.

How long does it take to install?
About 3 days for a fleet of 70 vehicles.

Who do I contact if I want a presentation?
Just go to our website on the contact page and click on your province or state and the direct line and email to our local rep will be displayed.

Do you have service reps in my area?
Yes. We contract with a local service provider in every location we have an installed customer.

Golf

Are you a traditional GPS company that offers yardage to the golfer?
No we are not. We specialize in Fleet Management and have designed our application around the features necessary for the operator to run their facility more efficiently and with greater protection.

Does the golfer see the TAG on the cart?
No it is discreetly mounted in the battery or engine compartment out of sight, and the unit is completely waterproof.

Do you need to map our course?
No we purchase an aerial map of your course through a licensed mapping provider.

Does it work for walkers so I can track them on my course?
Yes the TAG is also available as a portable unit you can issue to “walking" golfers or caddies.

Can your product lock down carts for tournament staging?
Absolutely. Carts can be remotely locked and unlocked individually or as an entire fleet.

Will the TAG drain the battery on my golf cart?
No absolutely not. The TAG utilizes Smart Battery technology designed by DSG Solutions. The battery in the TAG recharges only when the cart is being recharged. When the cart is in use the TAG runs off its own internal battery.

Turf

Can I work out fertilizer/pesticide application usage?
We can calculate the speed of the vehicle, width of the spray boom and dispensed time to give you an accurate picture of the amount of fertilizer/pesticide being applied.

Utility

Can I setup zones at the front of the yard to monitor time in/out?
You can set-up alerts to notify you when a vehicle has returned at the end of the day, also when it left the yard. You can see exactly where the driver has been, how long he stopped for and when the delivery to the customer was made.
